  • 1.  Updating Script Changes

Been working on scripts for a few projects now. Each time I have run into the same problem. When I make a change to the script the only way I can test it is if I save the project and reopen it. Otherwise regardless of what I do, Xpression seems to always use the script prior to the changes I made. This has been ok, but I have a few things coming up that will require much more scripting work, and I would like to get this workflow figured out.

What is the best way to make sure my scenes are using the current scripts?

    Richie,

Whenever you make changes to a script, you need to compile it. Using the little lightning-symbol at the top of the scripting-window, next to the Script-option. Or simply press F7.

There is no need to save and reopen your project.

It might be neccessary however to clear your output and put the scene online again.

    Best regards,

    Kenneth

Thats what I have been doing but that does not work. Currently using Designer 4.0 Build 2025 on Windows 7.
