Is there a way to display the text names of custom controls on the panel?   

I assumed there would be a way to see the names, but I've only been able to fire CCs by hitting "bank 1-4" then a button on the row above BG bus, which doesn't display any names. 

Hi Jason. On the top of the panel push the CC button then press EDIT > NEXT and use the ROW & CCMEM knobs to chose which row you want to set up and if you want mnemonics Off, Split (so you see the CC & source name) or Full. You can also chose the button colour to be either the custom control or source colour.  

You will only see the names when you have a custom bank selected.

I set up as you explained and I'm now able to see names of CCs when I select a bank via mnemonics being on. 

One thing though, after I select a bank and want to go back to seeing my ME sources on that row, selecting ME or MiniME buttons do not work, but key select buttons do.  

In other words, my ME and MiniME select buttons work UNTIL I hit a CC bank then they don't (unless I hold them down).  

That is because the Top Row does not delegate away from the CC bank unless you select a keyer or an AuxBus.

That is expected behaviour.  Use the Split mode if you would like to see both at the same time.
