Production Switchers

I currently have a live box as a DVE key over a replay (key source is ME1). Instead of using an RTD out of the replay (on ME2), I am scaling up the DVE key with an effect dissolve, no issues there.

Once the key is at 100%, my CC is then cutting to ME1 underneath the key, then turning off the DVE key (and re-assigning)

The issue I'm having is due to the 1 frame delay experienced through the DVE key, there is a noticeable jump cut (especially during play).

Has anyone had success with another way of scaling up a live box? (think Channel 7 AFL coverage)

The only way to get around that I can think of..... is going to be to extend your effect duration of having the Key on air....

Using a Hold in the Custom Control you are going to want to assign it so that you do the CUT of ME 1 to a different Camera (or any source) at the same time that you CUT the Key on ME 2 Off air.  That way the Cut will hide the removal of the DVE since you will be going to a different Source that won't have been in the Key.
