  • 1.  Pinout and specs on carbonite serial panel port?

    Hello! Is there someone who knows the specs on the PSL port on the carbonite frames and panels? Is it RS422 or RS232, and which baudrate and so on.

    Hi The PSL port is the Panel Serial Link Port... This is an LVDS interface and only to be used with the Older Grey Non-IP Carbonite panels.

    Thank you for the answer! I understand. My plan was to use a serial to IP converter and back, between the older panel, but i guess the only sensible option then is to use the Carbonet converter?

    Correct off the shelf converters will not work...  The Carbonet is basically the "brains" out of the Carbonite Black moved into a box for supporting this.
