Production Switchers

Hi everyone,

I apologize if this has been posted before. However, I do work well when I can kind of rephrase and state how I'm seeing the question.

We are a church that has recently purchased a Ross Carbonite. I am the Tech Specialist and my main expertise has mainly been in Network Infrastructure. So the video realm is a bit new and sometimes overwhelming to me.

Overall: We have five SDI outputs going to our three main projectors, and two side television screens. Those do not need audio.

However, I also have an livestream encoder (for our Sunday live platform), and I will be injecting the signal over NDI in our building. Both of these items need audio. 

I have one camera set up with XLR inputs, which passes through our Audio to the outgoing SDI signal from the sound board.

How can I set this camera up on the encoder and NDI output to give the two items audio?

Please feel free to ask many clarifying questions, since I am new to this. I am not sure if this even makes sense. 

I also have an SDI to XLR adapter for direct audio input for the switcher, however, I still need to know how to inject the audio to all those sources.

If you want to send PGM video of the switcher with Audio from the Board (that you have in Cam 1) you would have to do that Audio Embed after the switcher.....

Well .... Maybe....What I mean by that is this.....

In version 4 of our new Carbonite Ultra we will have an Audio Mixer Licenses that could handle all of this by allowing to move Audio and Embedd / shuffle it around.

However the other Carbonite products can not have this so it also depends on what you have carbonite wise.  But it might just be easier and more cost effective to add an Audio Embedder After the Output of the switcher that you send to those devices..

Are there any audio embedders that you recommend?

What would the time frame of Version 4 be? I believe I can buy the license. 

This is something I'd like to get tested because we have a guest speaker the weekend following this one.

Also, just to make sure, 

We are having the audio sent over our cameras SDI out, into the switcher, and from there it outputs to our NDI and to the Living as One Encoder. I was under the impression that all of those items would continue to allow the audio to flow. 

Am I missing something?
