    I’ve got a control question for you. I have an AJA Kona LHE card with an AJA KL-Box-LH/KL-Box in a PC. I’m wondering if there is any way with the RS422 on the breakout box to control playback of files in the AJA Control Room software or Adobe Premiere Pro? I’m trying to see if there is any way to have a list of playback clips in the Control Room software that I could trigger to play from my Carbonite video switcher?

    You will need to work with those vendors to see what remote control protocols they accept to perform the functions you are looking for.

    As far as I am aware there is no "video" server type functionality with those products.

    If you wrote a Python script to work with AJA Control Room that accepts TCP commands that you specify to control the transport controls in the software, you could add a RossTalk Generic device to your Carbonite to send commands through.

    As for a list of files, that wouldn't be possible.
