  • 1.  DVE Key Y axis keeps dropping on it's own

    Yesterday out of seemingly no where our carbonite just locked up on us. I ended up rebooting both the panel and the frame and after the reboot anytime I select one of my DVE keys to check or change parameters. The Y-axis parameter is constantly decreasing which means the actual DVE is always drifting towards the bottom of the screen. This stops once I no longer have the key parameters menu as an option. I can adjust things in dashboard without an issue but this is a pretty serious glitch that I can't figure out. Has anyone else had this or anything like it happen? How did you fix it?

    Sounds like the Joystick ADC needs to be calibrated.

    The Faders and the Joystick are Analog devices.  

    To Calibrate the Switcher

    1. Press MENU > System > NEXT > NEXT > Diag Tests > NEXT > Calib Reset.
    2. Move the positioner backwards and forwards, left to right, and twist the positioner left and right a few times.
    3. Move each fader from one limit to the next a few times. Do not push the fader hard when it reaches the limit.
    4. Press MENU to save the calibration information.

    Thanks. That ended up being exactly the issue. I went ahead and did this and it's fixed now.
