Is there a way to add delay to a video source that can be customized on the Carbonite Black. The multiprocessor input board I believe is only an option on the Acuity, but I was wondering if customized delay can be replicated solely through the Carbonite black. 

Frame synchs and DVE keys add a 1 frame delay, but say we need 7 frames. Is there maybe a roundabout way to achieving that effect. This would be used when running sound in a monitor, and then taking that same source full. Right now there is a delay between the two sources. 

Hi no Video Delay is not possible in Carbonite Black.  We were able to add this into the Carbonite Ultra Recently though.

You’re referring the the multiprocessor input board, as a option for purchase on the Carbonite Ultra?

No the Delay ability was able to be added into the Frame Syncs in Ultra.

Just for more clarification, once I turn on the frame synch is there just an option listed as delay and frames chosen? We purchased this switcher earlier this year, so I assume that recent enough to have the delay feature.

Hi Ryan.... No it it is not in the Carbonite Black series frames.  It is in the Carbonite Ultra series frames.  Turning on the Frame Sync in dashboard will have a selection for Delay mode and then selecting the number of frames to delay it.

Also this was added in the Version 4 release software.

No problem ... if you are not sure of what frame you have check the DashBoard Status Page and the Engine type will tell you the exact model you have and also the version of software you are currently on.
