Hi! I have a Cabonite switcher with a Cabonite Black panel software version 12.4.0.16889. We've had it for 3 years. As of late, whenever I reload a particular animation that gets updated daily, it takes an extremely long time to load into the cache, and then the M1 channel is not available for 10 to 20 minutes. I can run an animation on M1, just can't recall a graphic. The animation in question runs on M2 (and is pre-loaded in a playlist). It gets called via a custom control. The custom control runs a designated media number, in this case, 266. When the animation gets reloaded, it goes to a different media number. I have to run the custom control several times to get the animation to the correct media number. Once that is done, it's fine.
This procedure worked flawlessly up to this point. When we got shut down in March, everything was fine. When we returned to production in June is when this issue started. I even rebooted the frame several times and still having this problem. It's not that big a deal, but it is a little frustrating.
Here is what I usually do: At the end of racing (we are at a horse racing track), if the particular animation needs to be updated, I go into the stills folder on the usb, delete the old animation. Transfer the updated animation through Xpression to the Pictures folder on the Xpression pc, copy the animation to the stills folder on the usb. Next, in Media Manager, load the playlist where the animation is and load it into memory and it would load into the existing media number (just not now).
