Production Switchers

Hi, there. I have been utilising Carbonite for 3 years, and have no any obstacles with Rossvideo products. Whereas, approximately 7months ago I have installed Carbonite Ultra with 1 ME Panel CB, and face a problem. To exemplify, when turning on Frane and Panel it takes too long to have a connection between them. Sometimes connection cannot be acquired between panel and frame , shutting off then on helps to solve the problem. It is really intriguing what is a reason behind the mentioned problem? P.S DIP Switch is set to Deafult IP Address on both( Panel and Frame) P.P.S Connection between Panel and Frame is point-to-point.

What version are you on?  We have version 5.0.1 on the website and always best to be on the most recent release.

 

2 -- I would suggest that you look at moving to Fixed user IP address and not the Default ones as a test.  Also with Point to Point like that there is no way to use a PC running Dashboard to access features and functionality that run in the DashBoard Menus... So adding a Switch between them so you can add a PC with DashBoard would also be helpful since then you could monitor the endpoints and even capture the logs.
