  • 1.  Calrec CSCP protocol

    Hello! I am wondering if the Calrec CSCP protocol is supported directly in Carbonite or Acuity mixers without the need for Overdrive? I see that Calrec mixers are supported from the documentation from Overdrive, and in the documentation for Calrec CSCP and Calrec Brio Mixer the wording "support for Ross Switcher / Overdrive" is used, and i wonder if the mixer part applies, or is wrong?

    Calrec "CSCP" protocol is the Ross Audio Protocol ...

    That is supported by Acuity switchers and does not require OverDrive.

    Carbonite does not support this protocol as normally in those configurations it is with an OverDrive system...  However using another Device controller product from the OverDrive Family some control is available but it depends on what you are trying to do...  I would reach out to your Sales team member so that they can get the correct people to join a call with you.
