Hi Michael,
Playdeck supports TCP commands, which Carbonite is able to send. I tested this on a Graphite and it works.
1. Enable TCP commands on Playdeck.- Take note of the port (default 11375).
- The 'Show Commands' button is useful to see the command syntax.
2. Setup a RossTalk device on your Carbonite.
- This link will help:
http://help.rossvideo.com/carbonite-device-db/Topics/Devices/RossTalk/RossTalk.html- Input the same port number as the one on Playdeck.
- If this step is successful, Playdeck will show that 1 client is connected.
3. Create a Custom Control to send a RossTalk command- Devices > RossTalk (Generic) > RossTalk Custom Cmd

If it doesn't work, check your firewall. Hope it goes well for you!

Subject: Playdeck Software
Has anyone had any experience with a video play out software called "playdeck"? If so were you able to integrate it to any Ross switchers, most relevant to me is the Carbonite series? The software at first glance is well laid out. It has a lot of options. Seems easy to use fro the demo I've been playing with. I guess I'm curious if I can integrate it to roll video clips from my Carbonite?
