  • 1.  Carbonite Ultra Bus Map, Dashboard, and Satellite Panels

    I am working remotely using a TouchDrive-2 panel, connecting directly to a Carbonite Ultra chassis, but for most Dashboard functionality I am connecting through a Dashboard proxy server for stability and speed.  There is a master panel (non-Touch Drive) in the control room I'm connecting to; my panel is designated as SAT-1.

    I am finding that while working remotely, I cannot change the bus map on my TD-2 panel through Dashboard; it only gives me the master panel to change.  But if I'm in the control room, using the Dashboard computer that is right next to the panel and connected directly - not through the proxy server, I can change the bus map to my SAT-1 TD-2 panel, but not the master panel on Dashboard.

    Is there an option I'm missing somewhere?  Is this a bug in Dashboard? Or is it a limitation of the Dashboard proxy server use?

    We are on the latest Dashboard, Ultra, and TD-2 versions and firmware.

    When the Proxy server was setup the "Shared UI" that they put in was for the Master Panel on Port 5253...  If you are SAT 1 Panel then they need to share the connection of Port 5255 as well so that you control that not the Main connection.  That will also make your panel link work properly.
