    Hi,there. 

    We are getting ready for upgrading our Carbonite Ultra Frame. The current version of the switcher is V3.0 , and I have seen that already 5th version of the Carbonite Ultra Frame have been released. The question is Can I upgrade the frame from V3.0 directly to v5.0?

    This should be fine.  You may need to re-assign your user buttons (this can be done in DashBoard now using the personality menu).

    Also take note of the changes in DashBoard Connections in the Notes.  If you use the Virtual Panel at all then you will need to add that in addition to the normal 5253 Main panel port.  As per the Upgrade Notes the system now have dedicated connections for all 3 physical panels and the Softpanel which is now on Port 5257 so that they can have independent Panel Link Follow abilities.
