  • 1.  Carbonite Ultra Virtual Panel configuration

    Hi gang -

    So recently Ross had done a TeamViewer session while we were debugging a few things in regard to our new Ultra and TouchDrive2 install.

    While support was logged into my dashboard session, they had added the Carbonite Ultra VP to our connections list, however I was away from the computer when they did it and I did not see how it had been added.

    I am adding a Dashboard account to the PC next to our lighting console so in the event a volunteer does not show up, I can switch from my lighting desk position.  I haven't been able to locate information on adding the VP connection in the tutorials (seems that it was different in an older version of DB) and I can't figure out how it was done by the support tech.

    If anyone has any isight to this, I'd appreciate it.

    Hello! The VP has it's own port number, 5257, add it as you would the frame, just change the port number.

    Ahhhhh . . .   Thanks Louis!

    It seems that must have changed in the recent software updates as in the tutorials (on YouTube) the virtual panel appeared in the primary list once the Ultra had been connected to DashBoard.

    It did :) with the release of version 5 and improvements to multipanel operation we made each panel connect to individual ports including the SoftPanel.  That way they all can have their own Panel Link follow and personality settings..
