    Hi,

    We are trying to set a media wipe on our Ross Carbonite and getting help from a tutorial YouTube video:

    Graphite U: MediaWipes (Advanced 301)

    They are talking about a Virtual Control Panel for the Ross in 2.02 minutes in the tutorial.

    I cannot find this VCP. Can anyone give me some directions how I can acces this panel??

    Can't get our mediawipes to run...

    Hi Rudd,

    May I know which Carbonite model you have? And the software version number? If you can take a screenshot of the Status page on DashBoard, that will be helpful.

    Relatively recently, we enabled the Soft Panel (or Virtual Control Panel) to have its own Port.

    To add the Soft Panel to DashBoard:
    1. Click File > New > TCP/IP DashBoard Connect or openGear Device.
    2. In the IP Address field, enter the IP address of the Carbonite frame.
    3. In the Display Name field, enter a name you want to use to identify the Soft Panel in DashBoard.
    4. Select OGP.
    5. In the Port field, enter port 5257 for Soft Panel.
    6. Press Finish.
    7. Give it a few minutes to load, and the SoftPanel should appear in the Tree View.

    As to why the Media Wipe does not run, could you take a screenshot of the Media Manager page, with the Image Sequence loaded onto one of the Media Store channels? I will be able to guide better from there.

    Hi Aaron,

    We have a Carbonite 2ME Switcher which is running on version 15.5.1 and Dashboard 9.2.1

    On Saturday I have access to the switcher again and will try to add the Soft Panel.
    Thanks for the guide and steps to take.

    I was able to add the     media wipe (29 jpg files) into the Media Manger on M1 and it does run when I hit the play button. Also when I select M1 on the switcher I can run it by pressing on the knob on top of the switcher.

    However I do not know/or found out yet how to address this animation to be activated when hitting the mediawipe & run to do a transition....

    Any more ideas on this one?

    By Default the Media Wipe is using the Channel 2 not channel 1 for transitions...
