  • 1.  Media Storage Audio Output

I'm seeking a bit more clarification on the setup regarding outputting .WAV files through media storage on the Carbonite Black. I'm currently trying to setup playing small music files via Custom Controls.

The actual patching requires going from the multi viewer output on the Carbonite frame through an audio de-embedded, and then to the monitor. Can the multi viewer output then simply be sourced through an external router panel, or does it need to be hard patched to the audio board?

Also when referring to "ancillary" source, does that simply mean media storage one or two much be selected as one of the sources selected for viewing in the chosen de-embedded multi viewer.

    thanks

In the Carbonite Black the audio is not on the MV outputs...  It is only on the AES outputs...

You have to take it off those AES outputs... but you can assign them how you like.  Even in  a custom control.
