    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to add audio to a Media Wipe tga sequence? I'm making it using After Effects.

    Thanks,

    Dave.

Hi David, that is very straightforward. Create an audio wav file at 48kHz sample rate (thats the rate for video) and name it the same as the animation i.e. if the animation is mediwipe001.tga etc. then the audio should be mediawipe.wav. Then simple put the audio file in the same directory as the animation sequence.

When you load the sequence into a store the audio will be automatically loaded with it.

Remember that to playback the audio you need to assign the specific media store as an ANC data source (thats the embedded audio) to a video output, normally one of the MultiViewer outputs.

Let us know if you need more details.

Hi everyone, perhaps it's an older post, but I Would like to know if is it possible to assign a sound clip , but to use as a transition not just like a Media Store clip, or there's any way to simulate this way ? thanks !

    Hi Jack,

You can load just WAV files. So you can Cue the Media to the Media Store and Play it. The Audio can be de-embedded from the MV outputs (you select which Media Store on each MV -- Normally I just do MV 1 as Media 1 and MV 2 as Media 2). Most people are using SDI to HDMI converters at the monitors that should have at least 1 pair of de-embedded Analog Audio outputs.

I would build it as a Custom Control that will perform this Cue and then Play along with other events that you want to take place.
