This is for the Carbonite ultra

so the idea was just for fun and to see how far can i push the switcher.

what I'm trying to do is use all my Mini MEs as my DVE sources for 8 feeds that are all off screen with a green screen back ground in each of the Mini MEs program feed, and use CC to control all the recalls for these. to have one feed slide in at a time and be pushed out or overlapped by another feed.

now here's the issues I'm having, I was hoping to use my ME1 and the Four floating chromes that it can use to have each of the Mini MEs in one of the keys. but the kicker it i cant select the Minis as a chroma key source.

is this because its just not possible, a paid upgrade? or an update, my company is terrible for keeping stuff upto date.

    Andrew.

Ps. I know that might be a different way to do this with just using cc and fair amount of programming but wanted to try the out first.

The timing alignment does not allow the MiniME Output to go into the CK input.

You would have to physically route it back as an input to be able to do this and have a 1 line drop on those as sources.

Have you tried instead to just make the MiniME backgrounds be Black and then use the MiniME Combiner output to be a Key Channel for the "PGM" output of the MiniME (you can do this as a split key or by going into the inputs and making the Cmb the Alpha Channel .. see the second Image)

Here is a MV Capture with ME 1 Using Key 1-4 as Auto Select Keys with Blue as a Background.  The MiniMEs have 2 keyers setup as DVE over Black on the background.

The Configuration - Input - Internal Menu ...  Make sure the CMB output from the MiniMEs are assigned as the Alpha channel so that you do not have to manually setup the split key..

and then the Screen shot of the ME 1 panel setup with one of the keyers Showing setup of that ME.

thank you this worked out in the end just need to tweak timings, is there a away to change transition speeds of the cc recall the ME recalls are set up t have a 60 speed for recall diss but cant find anything for it in CC was hoping it would use the timings from the MEs but doesn't seem to.

Attributes in the Recall side should be set to Orange (Memory Mode)

Then with each Memory before you store the memory set the Eff Dissolve rate to the desired rate that you want them to move at between memories.

you can always just recall the memory ...  Set the attributes and then store it again.
