  • 1.  Vision Default Password

    I've run into a strange issue with our Vision 2M. I can access the switcher via windows explorer to see the still stores, but I cannot get in using the same login credentials via the web interface. Is there a way to reset the user/password for the Vision so I can establish a connection to the web interface?

    We're planning to backup our user setups. If there's a method of doing this other than via IP, I could use some guidance, there, as well.

    try admin password

    Also in version 16.1 we added the ability to completely backup the hard drive to a usb hard drive you plug into the panel. This will wipe that drive and make it a backup of the drive in the switcher allowing you to restore to the main drive at a later date.

    For a quick note that may help, we are on version 11.1b.

    I would try this combination as well:

    username : user

    password : password

    We did try that first. I ended up briefly working with Ross Tech Support and we were able to reset it to default. Thanks, though!
