Hi,
I remoted into a colleague's computer to help build a couple of macro's for them.
Their running dashboard version: 13.01.17024. I'm a few versions back, but I normally build the macro's on the desk/vmu rather than in dashboard itself.
Anyway we began building the macro via the desk/vmu and one thing that came apparent quite quickly was that the carbonite was adding/inserting 'pauses' between every button press and the duration of the pause reflected how long it took the user to push the buttons, in some cases it added about 50 events to the macro, is this a permanent "feature" or can this be turned off? ( we had to go back and delete all the pauses)
I generally pre-set everything up prior to building the macro (on the carbonite I use), For example, picture in picture – box slide out.
I would set key 1 dve, source, position, size, border etc….
Then when I would go to build the macro, while in record mode I would simple slightly adjust the size of say x-position and change it back to the original number and move on, resulting in the event being recorded, on the colleagues version, the macro was adding every little detail, if you changed the size(x-position) accidently by too much (using the knobs) it would add every single change down to the decimal, with pauses between every single event depending on how fast you spun the knob, is this the same "feature" as above?
Or am I misunderstanding how it works in the later version?
Thanks,
Ben
