Production Switchers

We currently use our Ross Carbonite to drive multiple outputs in 2 of our multisite worship venues. These include our 2 main side projectors, large format center projector, several channels of broadcast (to our lobby). The ME is used for the side screens - and the other outputs are driven from AUX outputs.

For the most part this all works GREAT!! But there is one thing that is missing - we REALLY need the ability to see what each AUX output is getting. We don't have space in our tech booths for additional external confidence monitors -- but we have several unused frames in our 2nd multiviewer (9 to be precise). We would LOVE it if we could setup the AUX outputs for viewing in the unused frames in the Multiviewers. And BONUS points if the label dynamically changed based on which source was assigned to the AUX.

BTW - we do LOVE our Carbonite switchers - this functionality would just be the cherry on the top of an amazing product...

That functionality is currently in Vision and will be added to Carbonite.

Hi Stan,

Sorry at this time I can not give you a date. Since we do have QA processes in place to make sure that we test and fix bugs it is really hard to "guess" when it will be released. What I can tell you is that the Code is done and I have already seen it working ;). We are looking forward to getting this version of software into QA in early January.
