  • 1.  Window Capture Material Shader of a Browser

    Hi all, 

    Trying to experiment with a Mentimeter Poll, opening the results in a browser (chrome, firefox or IE) and creating a Window Capture material of that browser to view the results. 

    Issue is when I drag the window capture from the material editor to the browser it does not work.  It only works on simpler things, like notepad or parts of programs.  In a perfect world I would also automate this using the API.  In my head, this idea works flawlessly, just trying to get through this one step at a time.  

    Would love to get any feedback here or even suggestions on how or if others have used Menti in Xpression.  Im using Designer v7.0

    To get this to work with Chrome (and some other apps like Skype etc), you need to disable Hardware GPU Acceleration in Chrome.

    For future folks– Brian's suggestion of disabling Hardware GPU Acceleration in Chrome solved this problem for us!
