Hi,

I'm using a VDCP Task Server Port in Dashboard to receive VDCP commands from a broadcast automation system. I'm able to trigger actions based on incoming events, but I'm looking for a way to extract additional data from the VDCP commands-such as a duration or clip ID-within my OGScript.

Currently, "even.source" only gives me the trigger name.
Is there a way to access more information from the VDCP command itself ?

At present, only the Trigger ID is passed to the button - the VDCP trigger service is the equivalent of pushing a button. If you need to send additional state information, you'll need to use the HTTP triggers or the Ross Talk "GPI trigger:state" mechanisms.
