Production Switchers

Trying to identify the communications methods used by Overdrive Caprica and Dashboard to communicate with an Acuity Ultrix. Specifically to confirm that they use different methods of communication with the processor frame. Looking at using an Ultritouch panel as an emergency backup control for the Acuity in the case of an Overdrive or Caprica problem. If they use different communications methods as I believe they do.

Acuity can serve up a connection for aux buses directly to the Ultritouch using OGP on port 5254.

You can build Custom Panels that send RossTalk Commands to the Acuity -- ie be able to trigger custom controls or xpt switches that are programmed on the Switcher.

You can also build custom panels to trigger Caprica Custom controls which then can also send data to the switchers.

Caprica uses the Ross Automation Protocol to talk to the Ultrix Acuity.
