Me again - I asked the wrong question before - what I need to know is Adobe software compatible with xpression - the production I'm working on will only give me an adobe login to get my fonts they won't supply as ttf- and apparently the fonts are not transferable/downloadable

I assume these must be from the 'Adobe Fonts' service?

You can only use Adobe Fonts outside of Adobe software by purchasing a license to use the font. Adobe Font Licensing FAQ

From that page, you will want to look at the question "Are these fonts available with a perpetual desktop license? What if I need a custom license?". Adobe will direct you to purchase a font license from one of their resellers: Fontspring, MyFonts, Fonts.com, Type Network.

Its also maybe possible to get to fonts by installing Adobe Creative Cloud onto the XPression, but I'm not sure.
