  • 1.  AJA Corvid 44 12G support?

    Anyone have any experience with this card? The Ross 3rd party card support datasheet doesn't seem to have been updated for a while, so I'm hopeful.

    Looking at ordering some Dell 3930 machines for Xpression SCE. 
    Don't want to order machines from Ross because the Matrox card in them is overkill for SCE, but would like to future proof for 4k productions down the line. And this card seems perfect. AJA even makes one with full sized BNCs!

    Hi David,

    We're currently working with Ross tech Support to get the card properly supported. Usually all Corvid cards work fine in XPression, the Corvid 44 12G was, however, the exception.
    As of XPression V11.1 build 5786 (beta version) the outputs appear to be working. Ross is now working on the inputs.

    Hi Gerard,

    Thanks! I'm glad to know they are working on it, and the output working makes it pretty usable.

    Assuming I get this order going quickly, I'll likely go with 1 machine with the Corvid 44 12G card, and I'll do a Corvid 22 for the other, where I'll need absolute reliability from the start.
