  • 1.  Alternate ME memory load?

    Posted 10-14-2022 14:46
Have a switcher set from a 3 ME Carbonite that I need to load onto a 2 ME.  In loading mems from set, I see that no surprise, what should be a ME 3 mem is loading on ME 2.

    Ideas?  Thanks.

Is this an ultra or a Carbonite black?

I was testing the load on a Black, but don't know about the other Carbonites (got the set from another TD and was going to load it in a mobile).  I did just find out the destination should actually already be loaded with the mems, so no longer an issue.

Still curious as to the potential for loading a 3 onto a 2 ME.

On Carbonite Black the memories should be absolute ME2 is 2.

so anything for 3 should be missing.

then all of the custom controls would have to be edited to point to ME 2 as it is now PGM ME.

on an ultra there is a concept of a P/P ME then ME1 is added and finally ME2. But again the Memories are absolute so you should always though have memories and customs that have P/P being it.
