Thank you for responding! After opening your project file; thank you for that by the way, I realized that I meant to say I'm animating on the X Axis instead of Y. With that being said, I'm basically trying to get my first keyframe to automatically adjust based on the length of the name.

Please forgive the somewhat newbie question. I'm doing nameplates that are datalinq populated and animate on the Y Axis. Sometimes the names are long and extend past the mask on the start of the animation. Is there a way for the names to always have the same start point based on the width of the text box? I imagine it's accomplished via a script and an event in the scene director but I just don't know how to accomplish it.
