Hi all,
All of "my" XPression machines [all Prime] run unattended via automation control in facilities that have no "broadcast" staff overseeing things. They're all configured to auto-login, launch XPression, load the project, CII gateway, etc. on boot.
The only small thorn in my side is that if the machines is rebooted -- be it Windows updates, extended power cut, etc. -- when it comes back up all of the framebuffers/outputs are cleared.
I'd really like either to restore the last known state or at least come up to some predetermined state that's not completely blank (e.g. ID bug, etc., etc.) but I don't see any "smoking gun" settings and everything I've tried doesn't change the behavior.
If this isn't possible I can rewrite the automation end of things to "replay" the relevant CII items (lower thirds, etc.) when I detect XPression is back up (in fact--talking out loud--this might be the motivation I need to scrap and rewrite this part of my automation since it's gathered some cruft -- but being somewhat "if it ain't broke..." if there's a way to do this on the XPression side I'd love to know.
Thanks in advance!
