We have a Mira+ server in our facility and would like to set up continuous recording of three incoming feeds.
Since storage is not unlimited, we need to periodically stop and restart the recordings in order to delete media older than a certain duration. The idea is to run a 24-hour recording using a Replay Event, then automatically stop it at 2:00 AM, clear all channels, and create a new Replay Event to start the cycle again.
We would like to keep using Replay Events so that we can continue operating the system with the RIO remote controller.
I have performed several tests using Dashboard scripts, and part of the workflow is working correctly. However, I am missing a command to create a Replay Event. As far as I can tell, Dashboard only allows the creation of sessions, not Replay Events.
Is there a command that allows the creation of a Replay Event, or possibly a way to automatically recreate a Replay Event using an existing configuration?
