    That is going to be something with the Contrast settings being off...

    I don't have a Carbonite Panel to be able to find the exact order though...

    - I think it is going to be Press Menu (looks like you are on that in the first picture..)
    - Press the Bottom Row second from Left Mnemonic Menu Button in the upper right of the panel under the Carbonite Logo
    - Click on the "third" Knob in the menu -- should say Mnemonics..
    - you should now have the menu for adjusting the brightness and contrast.

    The name of the screen is not visible even if the brightness contrast is increased or decreased
