    I am wrapping my head around our Cambot units and have a couple of questions I hope you can help me with.  Here is what we have with manufacture dates 2014:

    Questions:
    I can ping each. 
    Firewall is deactivated. 
    I have installed the Dashboard and Cambot Translation server.  
    I added the units to the Dashboard, but they fail to connect.
    Can we utilize Dashboard for rudimentary control if we connect?
    Or is Smart Shell necessary in order to communicate?

    Hi David,

    It's been an age since I used DB to commission Cambots.  It is possible, but you are limited to what you are able to do with them in DB.  A much better solution is to use SmartShell and the Robotics Server software.

    I am in contact with a colleague to see what I'm able to provide to you.  If I could ask you to be patient I will get back to you very shortly.  I am hoping by tomorrow at the latest.
