Each Frame can have up to 3 Physical panels connected .. Each Panel picks it's "slot" .. Main / SAT 1 and SAT 2. You can also setup the permissions per panel as to what they can access..

The manual covers the settings for the panels (they are seen in DashBoard where you setup which frame IP they connect to and which panel slot they are).
The CarboNET can be purchased from your Ross Sales manager or the Reseller/Integrator that you purchased your other switchers from.

Carbonite Black Frames Have the Panel serial port to allow the older grey panels to directly connect to them.
Ultra Frames do not have that port ..
There is the CarboNET device that would allow the panel to connect to it and then turns it into Ethernet control so that you can control any carbonite frame type over the network.

I have a Ultra ( w/ 2ME panel bought in 2020) and a Black (with 3ME touchdrive panel bought in 2021), that replaced an old Carbonite Extreme. Basic question is would my old (2015) Carbonite Panel be able to plug into either frame and function?
