Thank you for the assist. I was looking for that dashboard folder within the openGear, but realized that I needed the read/write access on the openGear folder before the dashboard folder could be created. I was also not showing the hidden files so that was why that folder was not visable.
Thanks again for the assist.

Hi Jordan
DashBoard requires read/write access to the folder "/Library/Application Support/openGear/DashBoard" to function. The installer does run scripts to set the user to have the required access but something has obviously not fully worked for you here.
The most likely scenario is that your current user is not part of the "staff" group - this is the group we assign read/write access to by default as it was standard for all MacOS Users (except for Guest) to automatically be part of that group.
If possible, please check and make sure you are part of the "staff" group. If not, you can still use DashBoard but you'll need to use an admin account to make sure that your user is assigned read/write access to the required folders.
It's a little odd that the error log was unable to be created - are you showing hidden files and folders (or navigating via command line)? Any folder with a "." prefix will be hidden on MacOS.
Hope this helps.
James

Subject: Cannot Open Dashboard on MAC OS
Having issues opening Dashboard on Mac OS. I am on Sequoia 15.3.1 and I do have admin rights on my machine.
I have tried both 9.13 and 9.14 and am getting the same error.
The error message is as follows:
An error has occurred.
See the log file
/Users/boze/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_3.8_1234140297/configuration/1748630539337.log.
I have tried to track down that log file but the path simply does not exist. I have even gone in and run the PermissionDashBoard exec file and get the same result.
I did notice this in the terminal text that runs while attempting to launch the program.
"The platform metadata area could not be written: /Library/Application Support/openGear/DashBoard/.metadata. By default the platform writes its content under the current working directory when the platform is launched. Use the -data parameter to specify a different content area for the platform."
But I am not sure what to do from there.
