The Carb Ultra sim was recently released, but when I run it, it asks for a user/pass. The announcement didn't mention it. Can someone post it?

There is no need to Login to the Linux Command line..  At the top you see the IP Address the frame is running and you will connect to it.

Make sure that before you run the OVA you change the Network Adapter Connection type to Bridged so that it will pick up the same DHCP IP address range as your computer is getting.

    Hey Les,

It seems I need a little more help getting connected to the sim via Dashboard. I set the network to bridged as you instructed, run the sim, and have a local DHCP address showing after it boots. I open Dashboard, click add new TCP/IP Dashboard Connect device, type in the IP and detect, but no devices are found. I'm on Windows and have also tried disabling windows firewall without success. Both the VBox and Dashboard are running on the same PC.

Apologies for the novice questions, Dashboard is all new to me. I'm planning on a Carb Ultra purchase later in 2023 or early 24, so just trying to get some sim type to get used to he menus. Thanks!

You don't use the "detect" you use the Finish..  The announcement was updated to include a PDF of instructions .. it will show the steps with images.

I was able to get it working. My issue was that I wasn't being patient enough. I thought once the login screen and IP appeared in VBox that it was ready for Dashboard to connect, but I needed to wait a few more minutes for the switcher backend to load. I imagine this timing will be different for everyone based on the speed of their PC. Might be a good note for pg11 of the PDF to give it a few minutes after seeing the login screen before trying to connect in Dashboard. And similar when changing a config that requires a switcher restart.. wait a few minutes, then disconnect/reconnect the device in Dashboard and it comes right up. All good now, thanks for the help.

On the right hand side of the switcher section is the announcement regarding the simulator and the links to download it and link to the oracle virtual box site to down load it.

The Sim Build has been updated to build 10383

This includes some fixes but most important makes the thumbnails for the Media Stores fully working.

The download is in the announcement section.
