  • 1.  Carbonite 1-A panel not booting

    Hi

    I came across a 4802AR-224-01 issue 3 1-A panel and a 4802AR-200-02A issue 3 frame. They should talk to each other but they don't… The panel is stuck in " booting please wait ".

    I have tried to connect them with multiple RJ45 cables ( cat 5e or cat 6 ) to no avail.

    The panel stays in " booting please wait " and the " panel led " inside the frame is not lit.

    Is there any other procedure I can try? Can we access the frame without a panel connected?

    You are connecting the Panel directly to the frame on the PSL port correct?

    Yes you can access the frame via DashBoard on a PC.  Just make sure you connect the frame LAN 1 to the Network.  if you don't know the ip address the manual has instructions on how to use the dip switches to force it to a known IP address so you can set it to an IP address or enable DHCP then shut down and reset the dip switch.
