  • 1.  Carbonite black solo connection problem

    My venue bought a CB9 panel and a carbonite black solo 3 years ago and never used it. Im relatively new to video but im trying to make it work.

    Here is my problem: the panel wont connect to the rack unit. I have tried to reset the IP on both units with the DIP switches, i can connect to the panel with my computer and the dashboard software but i cant connect to the rack unit. 

    I have tried to ping its ip adress while pluging directly into the network port at the back without success, i have tried to connect to it though the luminex gigacore 26i we have still no sucess.

    the network port on the rack unit seems to only have an orange light not the usual blinking activity light no matter what i plug into it 

    Is there something that im missing ?

    I would suggest opening a ticket with support so that they can help you to troubleshoot the switcher.  They might also suggest forcing an upgrade if needed.
