  • 1.  Carbonite Black Tallies to Ultrix

    Hello,

    After a reset, my Carbonite black switcher lost the configuration used to communicate the TALLYs with the Ultrix.

    This switcher has been upgraded to version 15.6.1.19113. I can no longer find the menus used to configure the TSL_UMD protocol, which is used to communicate tally status to the image mosaic managed by the Ultrix.

    What I do to configure

    System --->Device Config ---> Add new --->Serial tally --->Add 0-TSLumd_1.0 --->confirm

    In my memory, on version 12 of the switcher, you could set the communication port used. I can't find this part of the menu.

    Can you tell me what settings I need to make to configure this gateway with the ultrix?

    I am guessing you are adding to the Serial Port not adding a new device and selecting a IP "SLOT" for the device.

    Thank you less for your reply,
    it's the Next button that was missing in my setup procedure. I was able to set the IP address and port value.
    Everything is working properly now.
