  • 1.  Carbonite Ulltra VP-MVs suddenly failed?

    Both VP-MVs on our Carbonite Ultra suddenly started outputting pure green, even when connecting a monitor directly to the output of the switcher and bypassing everything else in the chain. The IO-MVs are still working, however. I left it in that state for a couple days while I contacted a local SI for support, and suddenly one of the MVs came back, but with a distorted image, as seen in the attached picture. The other MV was now pure grey. I had not changed any settings. I tried rebooting the Carbonite and now both VP-MV outputs are pure green again. Seems like a hardware failure, but it's strange that it is able to pass signal sometimes.
