Production Switchers

Hello!

Having just received our Carbonite Ultra, as we started to play around with it we were a bit surprised to see that the output format converters do not function in 2160p25 video format? Checking the manual this is intended operation, is there a reason for this? We work predominantly in the Cine OB world and so this frame rate, or 23.98p, is what we would usually use when doing 4k. What makes me think that this should be doable is that you can down-convert an output to be 1080p50 when in 2160p50 format, but likewise is not true when in 2160p25 or p23.98 video formats, is this a feature that could be on the road map? It would certainly be very helpful to us!

You can not downconvert or upconvert between different frame rates.  There is not a Frame Rate conversion in the FSync.

So it is not possible to convert from 2160p25 to 1080p50.

Sorry, I don't think I explained my problem well enough, what I'd like to be able to do is assign a format converter to do a 1080p25 downconvert when in 2160p25 mode?
