if you are pointing DashBoard to add the device via 192.168.1.180 and you can not reach it then it is something to do with the networking and ability to communicate with the IP being assigned to the switcher.
You do not need to log into the linux command line. it is virtually running like it is a Switcher frame.
Also Auto Detect in DashBoard will not work -- you need to manually add it via the OGP type device.

Subject: Carbonite Ultra Simulator not producing frames
hello,
I've been trying to get the ultra sim working with virtualbox and dashboard - at this point i have it up and it appears on my local network (I can ping the virtual device at the IP it advertises) but it doesn't seem to be producing frames and can't be detected by dashboard. Because I can't log into the virtual machine itself I don't really know how to troubleshoot from here. This is the screen I get to - i notice it is missing a bunch of lines of information that i've seen on others' screenshots. Any advice would be appreciated. Running the latest version of virtualbox on windows 11 and trying to connect with dashboard on the same machine.
