  • 1.  Carbonite Ultra UltraScene Question

    Hello all,

    We have a Carbonite Ultra in a standalone frame (not in an Ultrix), and have never really messed with UltraScene, which seems like I'm missing out on a cool feature. Normally I run my 2 box from one of the full MEs, with a MiniME feeding each box, making it easier to change sources and transition within the boxes. I have a custom control to switch the stripes on my TouchDrive to the MiniMEs feeding the boxes. What's tripping me up with UltraScene is the inability to choose MiniMEs as sources in a scene (Including putting the MiniME in an Aux and having the Aux follow). I'm assuming this is on purpose but what would be the workaround? I can't seem to think of much other than routing SDI feeds back into the switcher, but I don't have enough I/O to burn for that.

    The UltraScene Timing Window is Before the MiniME and ME timing windows.  So you can not Feed an ME or  MiniME into an UltraScene.
