Production Switchers

Using the Canvas I am feeding a 3840x1080 LED wall. It is eating up a lot of DVE resources. I am using ME1 to create 6 boxes that fly in on the wall and MiniME 1 to create a 2 box, camera and content, to send to my program feed. So all 12 of my DVEs are being utilized.

Is there a way to prioritize DVEs or lock them to specific spots so that If I needed to utilize certain ones elsewhere? Right now if I move DVEs it knocks my canvas off because it is stealing those DVEs. I Would like prioritize those and have certain ones "float" for my needs during a show

I think I already asked my Ross trainer, but is the limit 12 DVEs, or can more be added through licensing?

You can not Add More.  There is no additional DVEs to Add.

If you lock BKGD DVEs to ON then you will not have those DVEs ever taken away:

Also since ON AIR will also BLOCK DVEs being taken then you can also SET your Canvas to be Always On Air and thus will not have DVEs that are on it taken away either:
