We were able to get someone in PV to connect one to an Ultra and get the same thing to happen.
For now just hit the Cancel button .. it's something to do with flagging the version as not current even though it is the most current .. thus you upgrade and it just upgrades to the same thing and the frame says .. hey you still wrong.. but it's not....

Subject: CB-9 panel keeps asking to do PMC upgrade
Thanks for the suggestions Les.
I had already tried doing the power cycle as suggested.
I will make sure logging is still turned on and contact Tech Support.
Cheers.

Let's keep it all here .. you opened another thread instead of replying to this thread ... You said it is on 7.1.2 ..
This is probably just a version checking issue.. you can press Cancel and not do the PMC upgrade and it should behave accordingly.
I would suggest that if you have time .. You could power off the switcher (frame included) .. power it on .. power on the panel wait for this to come up.. Confirm the upgrade and let it come back up .. Cancel on the second time as now it will have gone through the process.
Export the Logs. In DashBoard - Configuration - Diagnostics - Bottom of page click on the Export As and it will allow you to save the logs to your computer and you can then send those in to Tech Support.

I have a Carbonite CB9 panel that I use with my Ultra and TD2s panel. With the new 7.1.1.10628 update it is is mis behaving.
|
It keeps asking to confirm PMC upgrade.
I press confirm on the panel, it takes about 3 minutes to go through the process, then comes back up with the confirm or not upgrade window.

Any ideas?
