Production Switchers

We will be upgrading to the Carbonite Ultra 60.  Currently on a legacy Carbonite+ frame (2015).  Is there any ability to port any amount of my CC data over, or should I plan to rebuild everything on the new frame?

Make sure to upgrade your Legacy Carbonite Frame to the Current version ...  Then there will be an export feature that will export the file set..

I would only recommend recalling the Memories and Custom Controls from it :) since the installation and personalities will need to be all redone for this different switcher :)  some stuff will come in from those but best not to since the intention of this feature was help get memories and custom controls pulled over.

You will need to go through them and edit them...  Ultra switchers have the concept of a PGM/PST ME while the older switchers had the Highest ME was always PGM ..  so make sure to go back through all those customs..

As for memories.. most stuff should be good but you will need to redo ones that were chroma keys .. The chroma key works differently as well in ultra based systems since they are on the XPT and allow you to use the same CK inside of multiple Keyers (source and settings are the same .. but you could put them over different BKGDs or have different keyers with the same CK but say with DVE on one but not the other).

This will at least give you a much needed head start.  I recently did something similar with a Graphite file set into an ultra 60 .. made things go much quicker :)
