If anyone else has a similar problem:
Right-click in the selected cells, format cells, select custom categories, and in the Type field, enter: 0;-0;"" (zeros will no longer be active).

If you set it to a special character, you can use a replace script or replace block in visual logic to set it to ""

I would appreciate any advice on the problem described in the thread. Trying to hide the 0 in Excel didn't work because Datalinq still recognizes the 0 when I use the hyperlink option.
