    Hey All,

This should be a super easy question. I have a few clients that render on Macs can the Xpression accept .mov files? We have a Tessera and a Incoder. Will an animation work for with those? Someone also told me it would work, but there can't be audio on it.

INcoder can transcode .mov files. The Quick Animation codec will give you the best result, although many customers use ProRes 4222 or ProRes4444 (with Alpha). I'm not aware of any limitations with Audio. The XPVC and XPVC2 codecs can both handle Audio and Alpha as well as video.

If the transode fails because no codec was found, you may need to install the Quicktime codec on the INcoder engine. You can grab the installer here https://support.apple.com/en-us/106375. You only need to install the Essentials, not the player or optional features.
