    I am currently working on configuring the TouchDrive TD2 production switcher for UHD workflows, and I'm hoping to leverage your expertise to clarify a few points:

    1. Setting up for 12G:

    • What is the correct procedure to configure the switcher to operate smoothly in 12G-SDI mode?

    • Are there specific settings or workflows that I should prioritize for best results?

    2. Impact on Inputs and Outputs in UHD:

    • How does switching to UHD mode affect the number of available inputs and outputs?

    • Specifically, how many effective inputs will be available when the switcher is operating in 12G?

    Hi,

    1 -- You need to select a UHD Mode from the Config - System Menu.  I am using the Ultra 1ru system, however it would be best if you specified which Carbonite Engine you have the TD panel connected to. (in DashBoard use the Status Page and the Engine type is listed there)

    The switcher operates in UHD like it operates in HD so there is no special workflow or settings that change.

    2.  This is going to depend on Which Switcher Model you are using as to what the resource allocations will be.
