  • 1.  Connecting PivotCam-20 to DashBoard ver9.16.1

    Posted 20 days ago

Hi I recently had tom upgrade our eight year old PCs with New (Win 10 to Win 11) and installed newest version of DashBoard (ver9.16.1)

I need to reconnect to our 3 PivotCam-20 with Moxa interface. When adding a new devise - PTZ camera, the drop down option in PTZ cameras only has PivotCam-SE not PivotCam- 20

Can you advise on how to reconnect DashBoard to the cameras

The Carbonite panel can control Pan-tilt, focus and Iris - but I need to adjust colour and shutter

    Regards. Keith

    Hi Keith,

The Pivotcam-20 does not connect to DashBoard directly. It connects via the Moxa serial-to-network converter. Therefore, you will not see Pivotcam-20 as one of the dropdown options in DashBoard.

Instead there is a standalone Dashboard panel to control the Pivotcam-20, which can be downloaded at the link below. Open the Cameras.grid file in DashBoard, and enter the IP and port of the Moxa (not the camera) into the panel.

    Hope this helps!
